A recent collision occurred on an Ohio highway that involved four separate vehicles. In the aftermath of the accident, it was reported that two of the motor vehicle drivers suffered personal injury. One man, the driver of a semi-truck, was issued a citation in the incident.
It was just after 8:30 a.m. on a recent Tuesday when the accident is said to have occurred. Reports indicate that a tractor trailer was apparently stopped on Interstate 75. Because the truck was stopped in a southbound lane of traffic, two other vehicles to come to a halt behind it.
The fourth vehicle involved in the crash was another tractor trailer. It appears to have failed to stop when coming up in traffic behind the three other vehicles. The 38-year-old truck driver is alleged to have struck the rear car in the line of stopped vehicles. This caused the vehicle to become trapped under the tractor trailer. The man behind the wheel of that car had to be extracted.
The other stopped car was also struck in the collision, and the drivers of both cars had to be transported to area hospitals for treatment of injuries.
